A special picnic is waiting for visitors at Kato Vrisi fountain, from 12.00 to 15.00. A three-hour food & wine tasting event, full of surprises.
The well-known chef Dina Nikolaou and the writer Maria Karambela are collaborating and presenting recipes from Parnon with local products, initiating participants in the traditional cuisine and revealing how cooking is associated with the history and culture of the place, while Andrea Paola Rojas, assistant professor in the University of Peloponnese reveals the secrets of nutrition. The presentation is organized within the framework of collaboration of Vamvakou Revival with ICC WOMEN HELLAS Cluster, Laconia. The president of ICCWH, Marina Ofloudi-Giavroglou will open the event.

Then, Alexandros Ioannou takes over for a special on the historic winery Katogi Averoff and its wines. An acquaintance with the route of the winery, starting from the replanting of the vineyard in Metsovo, at the end of the 1950s, till today. The grandson of Evangelos Averoff recalls and describes the route of the pioneering winery. The event is complemented by a tasting of 6 different wines.
