This year, Vamvakou Revival is inviting children aged 6 to 12 years old to take part in Vamvakou Sport Summer Camp from June, 20 to July, 1 2022 at Vamvakou, Lakonia!
The programme will run for two weeks and is addressed to 80 primary school children, aged 6 to 12 years old, residing in Sparti, the wider area of Parnon and Lakonia. It is a daily four-hour programme that includes several Vamvakou-inspired sport activities in nature, such as dance, group sport activities (e.g. mini soccer, handball, mini volley, rowing), activities promoting motor skills (e.g. badminton, fencing, track-and-field, gymnastics, ping pong), orientation games, as well as creative activities (arts and constructions).
The event will finish with a big celebration that will take place on July, 1, within the framework of the Vamvakou Experience Festival, with many surprises for the children and their parents.
The programme is realised in collaboration with the civil non-profit-making organisation “Regeneration & Progress”, within the framework of the initiative for the Revival of Vamvakou, with the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
