On Saturday December, 2 at 15:00, Vamvakou Revival is inviting children and grown-ups to the well-established Christmas get-together on Mount Parnon, realised within the framework of the Vamvakou Revival initiative with the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
This year too, a big feast will be set up in the village square! The postman of Santa Claus, balloons, magic tricks, fun shows, face painting and games, a three-floor stilt walker, the well-known cartoonist George Yfantis, a preschool instructor, a visual artist, the Intercultural Choir of the Greek National Opera and Foivos Delivorias will meet in the beautifully ornamented Vamvakou! Along with them, they will bring an interactive theatre play for children, a festive magic show, circus gags, balloons, Christmas creations made of recyclable materials, realistic caricatures, games, lights, sounds, melodies and favourite tunes with the voice of Foivos Delivorias, during a unique winter, Christmas, magic afternoon in the village!
Following an exciting summer tour, Foivos Delivorias is returning with performances throughout Greece. During this journey, he will be stopping at Vamvakou so that we can switch on the Christmas lights together! Accompanied the brave squad of friends (Sotiris Ntouvas, Kostis Christodoulou, Kostas Pantelis, Yoel Soto) and the participation of the elite producer of “Kallithea”, Christos Laina, they are all coming from the parallel universe of reality to the village square to discover along with the event attendants what’s not seen, what has been always next to us, what has never stopped!
