Join us to meet passionate women who respect and aim to uphold the traditions and flavors of their place of origin; and to taste deliciously sweet and savoury treats made with fresh ingredients and lots of love!
And if you are wondering where its name has come from… as the legend goes, a woman named Vamvakia transformed her home into a workshop and taught the villagers how to make handmade items from cotton. Today, the homonymous women’s group create delicious traditional products encapsulating wisdom, using pure local ingredients, and keeping alive the tradition of Vamvakou and its local flavors.
