A tracker detects traces of animals, people or changes in the natural environment by observing footprints, feathers, broken branches, changes in the ground, etc. In this activity, young trackers and their families will walk along a section of the trail leading to the cave monastery of Agia Kyriaki and will learn about the nature surrounding Vamvakou.
They will be joined by scientists in the fields of zoology, botany and geology from the Goulandris Natural History Museum, who will lead them to explore the fauna of Mount Parnon through traces left by animals, getting to know the flora of the area and its most typical plants, learning to distinguish some of the rocks that make up this wonderful landscape.
