Alkinoos Ioannidis, the great artist who has left his mark on the local music scene, comes to Vamvakou with a music program consisting of favorite songs, unexpected cover versions, improvisation, and interaction. Employing different arrangements and electronic sounds, the musical performance is made not only of moments of great energy and strong emotions, but also of the joy of getting together, communication among performers and with the audience, freedom of improvisation, and the coexistence of different musical paths.
The reunion of Alkinoos Ioannidis’ iconic band was eagerly anticipated as a major music event. Twenty-four years after their legendary performances, which culminated in the recording of the live album EKTOS TOPOU KAI CHRONOU [out of space and time], the talented musicians keep performing in unexpected venues and festivals, presenting performances full of creativity, emotions, and energy. This festive season, the band has been led to Vamvakou to turn on the Christmas lights with us all.
