During the Hellenistic period, between 1100 and 330 BC, the ceramic art in Greece was in its golden age, thus having offered world history some of its greatest findings. During the weekend of August, 5 & 6, the ceramist Iasonas Damianos will reveal to us all the secrets of ceramics both on a theoretical and practical level. In the central square of Vamvakou, we will construct large-scale objects in groups and afterwards we will create individual items, which will be fired in a professional kiln to be delivered then to the participants.
