As the Carnival approaches, we let our imagination fly and make our very special superheroes! Using natural clay, shape figures with distinctive characteristics and superpowers. Decorate them with leaves, wood, stones, natural materials and fabrics to create impressive costumes and accessories. Name, shape, give them flesh and bone, and bring your heroes to life. As you give shape to their unique story, they will overcome all obstacles and find themselves on boundless adventures through a magical imaginary journey!
A multisensory natural material, clay originates directly from the earth. Clay is one of nature’s earliest materials used by men and animals and the most environmentally friendly material as it both comes from and ends up in soil. At the same time, it does bear an element of magic. As easily as one could mould clay into an object, could the latter get damaged; yet one could always start over. Every month, through play, we unfold our stories and reconcile with our mistakes aiming to connect with nature, “here and now”, and with our true self, unburdened from expectations and “shoulds”.
