Through a thematic, interactive tour in Vamvakou, the school programs of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) along with the young visitors of the village get familiar with the particular architecture and function of the various green spaces of the village and face the natural landscape in a critical way, as a dynamic “scene” for cultural activities, artistic encounters, social dialogue and recreation routes. By referring to examples of artistic exploitation of public natural space internationally, the children get inspired regarding the connection of Art – Nature – Society and, by forming work groups, design and propose “green events” that fit the place.
The program is part of the SNFCC’s school programs.
