Exhibition by Greek creators comics in Vamvakou

On its 10^th – anniversary – edition, En Aithria presents unpublished works by 74 Greek creators. The artistic director of the exhibition is Gabriel Tompalides and the curators are Elias Katirtzigianoglou and Dimitris Sakaridis, with the contribution of Melandros Ganas. The exhibition series En Aithria– an initiative of the painter and comics creator, Gabriel Tompalides – brings together in a single place the work of both renowned Greek comics creators and illustrators and up-and-coming new talents. Leaving the theme open for the artists to choose, the exhibition represents a wide spectrum of styles and “schools”, in an attempt to showcase the diversity of creative work and artistic currents to be seen in contemporary Greek comics and illustration.
