The Field of Life returns for a second year in a row to Vamvakou and takes part in Vamvakou Experience Festival with sport, cultural and educational activities, through which our little visitors will have the chance to make the most of their time.
Our special collaborators will bring with them for the visitors of Vamvakou the following programs:
Running Stars | Do you know the sports included in athletics? Have any of you attended an athletics event or watched the training of track & field athletes? No matter how much you know, our “training” in Vamvakou will be different! With original throws, incredible jumps and amazing relay races that you have never imagined of, we will have the chance to experience together a unique sports experience on the mountain.
Dinosaur excavation | Do you think that there were dinosaurs living in Vamvakou? Let’s discover this together through a paleontological excavation! Join us to find out which dinosaur species went extinct from Earth and in which way and then to get acquainted with the techniques and tools of paleontology and start our own excavation! Magnifying glasses and brushes will help us discover unique dinosaur fossils. Our project, though, does not end here! After cleaning and identifying the fossils, we will paint them. So, each one of us will take home his/her own little colorful dinosaur!
Let’s Dance | Dance is all about joy, fun and smiles for all the children participating, both boys and girls! That’s why we have prepared for you an unforgettable dance class! A choreography with acrobatics will unfold before your eyes step by step, and, little by little, you will see that it is… a piece of cake! Join us to dance and have fun, as dance and fun go hand in hand in the programs of the Field of Life!
