Program on environmental education
They go… but they come back again! Every year, millions of birds realize the same amazing migration trip. The Management Body of Mount Parnon, Moustos wetland, Mainalon and Monemvasia presents Bird Migration, which includes information about the long migration trip, the adventures that birds encounter, as well as details about some common species that live or pass by the area of Parnon.
The purpose of this activity is to inform and raise awareness among the participants about the ecological value of the area and the need to protect and maintain the biodiversity and its natural wealth. It is also demonstrated how important it is to conserve the protected area in a good ecological state, by highlighting the benefits for the local population.
The program is a part of the collaboration between Vamvakou Revival and Management Body of Mount Parnon and Moustos Wetland.
