The Vamvakou Experience Festival 2024 concludes with a new partnership! Vamvakou Revival teams up with Schoolwave inviting you to a great concert in the village square. Three Schoolwave bands travel to Parnon Mountain to enthuse the entire village –even the forest’s blackbirds and foxes– with pop, rock and traditional sounds. Music bands from Sparta, Corinth, Kalamata, Chania and Athens, will join them on stage for an unexpected musical collaboration. Come and give youngsters your warmest applause and say goodbye to this year’s Vamvakou Festival!
A few words about Schoolwave
Schoolwave is a nationwide music festival that has been taking place in Athens every summer since 2005. School and student bands and ensembles play music on a large stage of state-of-the-art technical standards in front of an audience of thousands of their peers. The philosophy of the festival is to treat children as artists and not as “cubs”.
