All the children will want to participate in this original hidden walnut hunt in Vamvakou during the walnut season! Fearless, tough nuts will work together in a systematic and effective way to face tricky knowledge questions, fight against devious riddles, put the power of logic forward to solve smart science experiments. Their goal? To enjoy the hunt and get to the hidden treasure!
This is an interdisciplinary approach around the theme of “walnut tree/walnut” in Vavmakou in the form of a treasure hunt. In groups of three, children will move circularly throughout five work benches/stations to study print material, do calculations, perform simple experiments and select the right answers in the closed-ended questions on their worksheets. Based on these answers, they will discover an encoded instruction for the step that will lead them to the hidden treasure.
