Santa’s magical sleigh will make a stop at the School of Vamvakou this year before the start of the enchanted journey to flood it with the Christmas spirit. A basketball court filled with ice and transformed into a huge Ice Rinkis ready to take the visitors for a ride. Come and take a whirl on the ice to create the most enjoyable memories this holiday season!
The Christmas atmosphere is enriched for the whole month by thousands of sparkling lights and decorated Christmas trees, while the festive setting is complemented by educational programs, gastronomic quests, dj sets and theatrical performances. And if you get hungry, sweet-smelling vamvacookies and melomakarona from the Women’s Cooperative of Vamvakou, “Vamvakia”, delicious snacks and hot drinks that even Rudolph will smell from afar, await you in the canteen of Vamvakou Santa School!
The School of Vamvakou changes and transforms into a fun workshop of Christmas dreams for the first time in its history, ready to welcome the young and old this holiday season. We hope to see you!

Entry and use of the Ice Rink are at the participants’ own risk and, in the case of minors, with the responsibility of the parent/legal guardian/adult companion. The use of the Ice Rink by a minor is allowed on the condition that they are accompanied by the parent/legal guardian/adult companion upon arrival at the Ice Rink and that written consent has been provided, either during online booking or upon arrival at the Ice Rink.
Equipment and Clothing:
– The ice skates are provided by the Ice Rinks’ personnel.
– It is recommended to bring gloves.
– The use of skating helmets is mandatory on the Ice Rink for little children. Their use is also strongly recommended, particularly for teenagers and adults. Skating helmets are available for loan from the Ice Rinks’ personnel.
