4th Vamvakou Mountain Run: 28km Alt+1353 m.

Starting Point: Vamvakou Laconia, Central Village Square of Vamvakou

Finishing Point: Vamvakou, Central Village Square of Vamvakou

Right to Participate: Individuals over 18 years of age, in other words born before 16/06/2006, have the right to participate in the race. Participants must be in good physical condition and need to register, otherwise they will be excluded from the race.

Participant cost: A symbolic fee of 10 Euros applies in order to participate in the race VAMVAKOU MOUNTAIN RUN of 28 km, however, any participant who wishes to make a donation for a philanthropic cause, are encouraged to offer a larger amount.

Participation: A participation is valid only when registered via the webpage www.vamvakourevival.org/vmr-2024/. Once you have registered, you will receive an automatic confirmation reply, where detailed instructions and links will be included to submit your payment. Only paid entries are considered valid. In case someone wants to cancel their participation, they are kindly asked to do so via email they received, so that the place can be opened to others interested in participating.

Registration: Registration is limited to 200 participants for the 28 km race.

Race pack: All registered participants will get a participation (BIB) number and the timing chip, a bag for their personal items, a souvenir windbreaker jacket of the race, a medal award and a light snack at the finish line.

Electronic timing: Electronic timing will apply on the 28 km race.

Cut-off time: 6:30 hours. For the long run 28 km-route, there are two cut-off limits which have been set at the 8^th kilometer situated at the Mantres location and at the 21st kilometer of the route, situated at the Sparti Refuge location. Any athlete reaching the first point 2:15 hours and 5:00 hours at the second point after the start of the race is disqualified and will be taken to the finish point by vehicles of the organiser, as indicated by the judge in charge.
