Would it be possible for a world-renowned British medium to feature the story of a tiny village in Greece? It would! Indeed, in October 2022, the Guardian featured Vamvakou and the Revival initiative in an extensive article that traveled to the world through international press.
Journalist Alex Sakalis visited Vamvakou to find out more about the project and its protagonists, experiencing first-hand the regeneration of a village under modern terms. He was guided through the available facilities; met locals; discussed with the ones who have undertaken the initiative; tasted local recipes; walked along Vamvakou’s cobbled streets; and felt its good vibes.
