The time has come once again to welcome Christmas in Vamvakou, through a livestream from the village of Parnonas with a spectacular concert featuring Alkinoos Ioannidis.
On Saturday, November 30th, we will unveil the Vamvakou Santa School for the first, featuring Santa’s magical workshop, which has been relocated at the school of Vamvakou at a 1,000-meter altitude. Santa Claus, fantastical creatures, the Nutcracker, and street musicians will pass the relay baton to the velvet-smooth voices of the children’s choir from the Music School of Sparta, marking the start of the traditional countdown. And just like that, thousands of lights, bright decorations, twinkling fairy lights, and the grand Christmas tree in the village square will light up, ushering in this year’s Christmas season, featuring the artist Alkinoos Ioannidis and his band taking us on a journey to worlds “Beyond Time and Place.”
